India go 1-0 up with one Test to play
Unsurprisingly India knocked off the 63 runs needed to win this morning. An opening partnership of 47 between Karthik and Jaffa all but saw India home, though their famous middle order suffered a mini-wobble as Chris Tremlett removed both openers and Sachin Tendulkar in a superb spell. Captain Rahul Dravid was at the crease when victory was sealed - a moment that delighted the significant number of Indian fans whose presence makes this series all the more pleasurable.
Although England were obviously disappointed to lose their bowling unit again looked good if not particularly lucky, again beating the outside edge frequently. Chris Tremlett was superb taking 3-12 from 7.1 overs and he looks to be England's biggest plus of the series.
Zaheer Kahn deservedly won man of the match for his excellent bowling performance. He took 4-59 in the 1st Innings and 5-75 in the 2nd.
The teams will do battle again in 10 days at the Oval in the third and final Test.
